I’m located in Howell, MI (about an hour from Detroit, and 45 minutes from Ann Arbor).
Either contact me via facebook (easiest) or send me a message via the contact page on this site.
Please list what type of session you are looking for, a link to a recent full length picture of you, and your “I don’t shoot
this list” so any ideas we come up for the shoot will be within your comfort zone. I’ll always ask for this as knowing this
keeps things from becoming awkward for both of us during a shoot. We’ll talk about ideas for the shoot, probably show
pictures we have illustrating the ideas, set a date and time, then get together to create these ideas.
Yes, I have a small garage studio at my home in Howell. I also shoot some boudoir work inside my home
from time to time as well.
Yes, but I do not shoot outside in daylight any longer. I have P.L.E.; basically I’m allergic to
sunlight. Do to the pain and high skin cancer risk associated with this I shoot at night or indoors, etc shielded from
sunlight.
They are pretty straight forward and humorous. We get together, have you sign a model
release form, decide which idea to start with. I’m a bit exacting on the light so we’ll take a few takes to make sure
the light is positioned, etc, right and start shooting. Often music is played. I have no doubt during this, I’ll trip
at least once and get up laughing. Often the most terrible and scandalous gossip is started or discussed. hehehehehe…
The number of shots retouched is based on the length of the shoot and the
strength of the work. Generally this is 3-4 shoots an hour, for a stronger model/shoot more. You’ll receive from me two
sets of images both with my logo on them of print sized images (used to make prints for your portfolio) and websized
images scaled down for posting on the web and to deter image thieves from trying to make prints of them.
I generally choose to work with models who have a quirky look to them and do not
require an hours worth of make-up work to be shoot ready. There are certain things about skin tone and carriage that will
make me want to work with the person. If I don’t see the person and have a vision of how to shoot them, I won’t try to
establish contact.
Sure! Promptness, I need you to be pretty much on time. I may have a shoot
after you, etc. You show up late and we’ll get less shots than we planned for, etc. Also a little bit of trust, just a
smidgen. I just need you to know that my asking you to turn your nose to the light is to make you look great. I want you to
look great, I just need you to trust in that.
Also please do not add false eyelashes unless we talked about their use during the shoot. I have found over the years it is easier to add them in post production rather than deal with the noticeable shadows they can create.
Yes but please let me know beforehand. If your escort is someone you are looking to for their
approval that usually goes bad and I’d ask you to bring someone else. Also if the person is someone who wants to direct our
shoot, let them get a camera and film you themselves rather than directing our shoot. I think the best way to say
it is, those with controlling significant others are not cool so if you are bringing that type of person around, let’s not
shoot. Finally, again, if you are bringing someone as an escort let me know beforehand, because if the person you are
bringing is crazy I want to bring a bigger crazier person to defend me too! heheheheh…
